Very very long time ago, just when the land and the sky were formed, there were 1 God and 12 followers living up on the sky. The God one day looked down on the land where humans were living. Unlike what the God had expected, humans were wasting their time playing instead of working hard. The humans also continuously sought for money and their insatiable greed eventually led to murdering of each other. The god, infuriated by how wasteful lives the humans were living, sent his 12 followers in order to re-establish peace and working conditions on the land. So the 12 followers went down and made sure that the humans were living properly.
For a couple of days, nothing seemed to be happening down on the land. Everyone started to work hard again and peace seem to have been re-established. However, one day, when the God checked down the lands, people again sought only for wealth, did not work hard, and constantly fought with each other. It was chaotic. What was even worse was that this time, the 12 followers also became lazy and started to only look for money without doing what they're supposed to do. Extremely mad by seeing such scene, the God made the 12 followers to come back to the sky. When the followers came back up to the sky, the God expected them to feel bad for what they have done down. The God wanted them to ask for forgiveness. However, instead, the 12 followers started to rebel against the God. They constantly asked him to let them go back down. With uncontrollable anger, the God, instead of sending them back to the land, sent all 12 of them up to the highest part of the sky so that they would never be able to come back down.
When the 12 followers were sent up to the highest part of the sky, they were stuck on the surface of that part. Saddened that they would never be able to go back down and enjoy the lives that they used to have, the 12 followers decided to not go back down but just look at the land from the sky. However during night, they couldn't see anything. Therefore they decided to become stars so that shining rays would come out from their bodies and allow them to see down the land. These 12 followers have become what we now know as the 12 zodiac constellations.
